NEED HELP?

If you cannot find the help you are looking for on this page, please send an email to info@tarnj.org or text us at 609-540-6885.

If it is Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm, please call Animal Control at 609-989-3254. If it is after those hours, or a weekend, please call Trenton PD's non-emergency line at  609-989-4000. If you cannot get in touch with anyone, please do not give the animal away to another person. Please try to hold the animal in a safe place until you can reach either Animal Control or Trenton PD. Please note that Animal Control is required, even after hours, to pick up strays. If PD tells you differently, please get the dispatcher's name and report it to info@tarnj.org.

If the animal is injured, please first try to call Animal Control at 609-989-3254 or Trenton PD at 609-989-4000  if after hours. You can also try to text or call us at 609-540-6885.

If you believe the animal needs emergency care, (bleeding, unable to walk, not breathing normally, etc), please go directly to BluePearl in Langhorne at 2010 Cabot Blvd W Ste. D, Langhorne, PA 19047  or BluePearl in Levittown, PA at  301 Veteran Hwy, Levittown, PA 19056. When you arrive, tell them that you found the animal as a stray in Trenton, NJ. They have our contact information.

DO NOT leave the animal in front of the Trenton Animal Shelter.

Please email us at info@tarnj.org and provide details about the type of animal, age, breed, weight, gender and describe, in detail, the issue you are having. Please include photos if possible.

Please email us at info@tarnj.org
